Data We Collect

We collect the following data:

  • title;

  • first name;

  • surname;

  • email address;

  • postal address;

  • telephone number (landline and/or mobile);

  • affiliation;

  • job title, company name & affiliation;

  • contact preferences;

  • contact or authentication data;

  • additional information provided;

  • interest in a product;

  • cookies, pixels and similar technologies

  • fulfilment of our contractual and pre-contractual obligations;

Data collection and processing is necessary for the performance of the contract and is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.  Insofar as we have obtained your consent for the processing of personal data, Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.  The legal basis for direct marketing as a result of the sale of our goods or services is Section 7(3) of the UWG (German Unfair Competition Act).

Contact Form

If you contact us via the contact form, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, and message) will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract, or on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in processing your inquiry. The data will be deleted once it is no longer necessary for handling your request and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Sharing & Disclosure

We may share personal information with:

  • the following categories of Service Providers: hosting, cloud computing, communication & collaboration, data analytics, data storage, order fulfilment, payment, accounting, email, customer support, sales & marketing, performance analytics, product engineering, product design, user authentication (under confidentiality agreements)

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are implemented.

  • to request the immediate rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;

  • to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;

  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to have it deleted and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;

  • to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request its transfer to another controller in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR; and

  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters for this purpose.
